Grills, Smokers & Cookers...oh my!
Starting out, I just needed something to cook with for the 4th of July. Well, we got things going, used it for the forth, and then kept on adding until we came up with the ultimate tailgater.
This baby is all Stainless Steel and sits on it's own trailer so it's easy to take with you wherever you go. The storage under-compartments double as a food warmer. There is a door between both cooking compartments that allow you to put your fire in one and let the smoke roll into the other. Each grill compartment has it's own fire grate that easily pulls out for cleaning ashes. You can smoke or grill on this and it will feed a small crowd of friends and family, guaranteed! (We tried it). This will easily fit 8 - 10 pound butts or a whole lotta chicken! |
This is a smoker that we just finished for a gentleman from West Virginia. Very similar to a Lang style smoker, but with some "Armstrong" improvements. This smoker is ready for sand blasting and then paint. The proud owner wanted to do that himself, but we also offer fully finished products.
The grates in the smoking chamber will allow you to pull them all the way out to move your product or load it. The fire box is 24x24 which allows for a large fire to send all that smoke up into the chamber. There is a single plate that runs on an angle up through the smoking chamber forcing the smoke up and roll around the meats before it reaches the stack back down by the fire box. The doors on the chamber have a catch that hold them up and out of the way while your working with the meat. The stacks also have a mechanical lift that allows for setting the cap at the ultimate height for that perfect smoke. This smoker will easily smoke 10 - 10 pound Boston Butts in the pit, and then you can smoke or hold hot food in the back too! |
Well folks, this one is a head turner. As you can see, we can build any size cooker you want or need. This was built for a caterer and festivals. It will easily hold up to 750 pound of butts, possibly even up to 900 pounds. Now that's some serious cookin'!
Picture four, shows the smoke ports running up through the four different bays. It has slides on it so you can adjust what bay you want your smoke to run into. You can smoke in one bay, grill in the other three or any combination necessary to feed your hungry crowd. The doors have a mechanical lock that will automatically hold it open until you are ready to close it, just push up to allow it to release. In the back, the fire box is low with a warming oven above. The warming box will heat up to hot hold or warm buns while you smoke. Each cooking bay also has a grill grate and ash pan in it. You can utilize all three racks per bay or use just one rack and adjust it up or down closer to the fire. The paint is a special high temp paint that can withstand up to 2500 degrees of heat. No peeling or cracking here, even on the firebox. |
